Essential Question:

How can learning PowerPoint improve your schoolwork?

 

Setup Procedures:

Step 1: Open PowerPoint and create a blank presentation.

 

Step 2: Click on the 4 squares button and create 10 slides using the copy and paste technique.

 

Step 3: Format background colors for each slide. Every slide can use the same color or design.

 

Step 4: Use WordArt to write a title for each slide.

 

Step 5: Insert a picture or clipart of the topic for every slide.

 

Step 6: Insert a text box. Write a summary for each topic. (2-3 sentences) Don’t copy and Paste

 

 

Project:

The shell you have just created will be used to develop a PowerPoint slide on “Parts of a Computer”. The first slide must be a title slide. The last slide must be a conclusion slide.

 

Topics: Below are the 8 topics that must be covered in your presentation:

Monitor (Screen)                                  Mouse

Printer                                                 Modem

Processor                                             Memory (RAM)

Keyboard                                            Hard Drive
