Essential Question:

How can understanding the basics of online investing be beneficial to your life?

 

Stock Tracker:

Make a stock tracker spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel. Click here to review the basics of entering information into Microsoft Excel. Your chart must have the name of your stock, purchase price, sale price, number of shares and daily price entries.

Setup Procedures:

Step 1: Open PowerPoint and create a blank presentation.

 

Step 2: Click on the 4 squares button and create 7 slides using the copy and paste technique.

 

Step 3: Format background colors for each slide. Every slide can use the same color or design.

 

Step 4: Use WordArt to write a title for each slide.

 

Step 5: Insert a picture or clipart of the topic for every slide.

 

 

 

 

Project:

The shell you have just created will be used to develop a PowerPoint slide on “Online Investing”. The first slide must be a title slide. The title slide should have the name of the project, investor’s name, and dates of the project. The introduction slide should introduce the project that you have been developing. The last slide must be a summary slide.
